Akuryeri
The second most populated city in Iceland, the weather here is the most pleasant here during the summers. This is also the best place to witness the spectacular sight of Northern Lights, from September to April. The waterfall Godafoss can be an interesting sight to see, with the colourful legend associated with it.

Must Do: Visit the controversial church of Akureyrarkirkja; and the former house of Reverend Jón Sveinsson, also called Nonnahus. Also, hike to the town-mountain of Súlur. Visit the Artic Botanical gardens and then go for a romantic dinner at Cafe Bjork.
Lake Mývatn
Want a place where you can discover the landscape, local culture, natural phenomena, and flora and fauna of Iceland together? Then Mývatn is a perfect choice for you. Also known as the Midge Lake, it attracts bird-watchers and nature lovers. Snæfellsnes and the West
